Yelaya was an ancient queen of Alkmeenon.Yelaya was worshipped as a goddess in Keshan, where she functioned as a oracle to the priests of Keshan. Despite being dead for many hundreds of years, her body was perfectly preserved and lay in the ruins if the city of Alkmeenon, an ancient city deep within the jungles of Keshan.
