[edit] Nav Bar
Hey Severe, thanks for your work so far on the wiki! Just want to point your attention to something quickly.
Look at the top example there. I'm going to work at changing many nav boxes to that code as it means no CSS work for the person creating the "nav" box, and is easier all around. Bare some situations. IE: {{Bar-Barb}} etc.
Thoughts?
- I think for the navigation bars that the hide function is pointless. They are at the bottom of the page anyway, it's not really going to obstruct the content of a page at all by hiding a line or two of links. I doesn't see that it offers any benefit, and in fact if it does have issues in IE, its just a waste of time for something to insignificant on a page.
- I'm not saying that it is a useless function because it is a very good at reducing large tables and blocks of text but for this purpose, I disagree with you. → Severe (T/C) 18:49, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] monaco
I believe it needs to go on
User:Severe/monaco.css
Although if you wish, i can setup a javascript css swap so you can see your css changes on a specific page without affecting all of the wiki as you use it ?

- Well I tried to move it to User:Severe/monaco.css but it doesn't appear to work even when I refresh my cache? How would I do the jss swap? → Severe (T/C) 12:06, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
- I'll set it up for you - gimme a few. Daworm 12:09, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
- Sure you don't want me to set up the js swapping so you only see the changes you do on one page? If so, move your css work to User:Severe/monaco-custom and I can point that to affect User:Severe/Sandbox/Custom specifically ? Daworm 12:21, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
- Righto, well Monaco-sidebar aside, just copy your changes into User:Severe/monaco-custom and ping me on my talk page, I'll load up User:Severe/Sandbox/Custom and see your styling changes :)
