Two-handed blunt weapons are weapons wielded with two hands that do not have cutting edges or piercing points on them. These weapons are designed to crush enemies with severe blunt force trauma. Example include the footman's mace and warhammer, sledgehammers and oversized clubs. Note that while these weapons may have spikes attached to them for extra damage, the primary purpose and combat function of the weapon is to deliver crushing blows.
Properly wielded, these weapons can stun and injure even the most heavily armored opponents.
