It seems that ordinary zones are instanced too and you get assigned to one at random to keep numbers of people in each copy manageable. You can change which instance you are in and summon others in your group to your own instance but it's far from clear to me how you tell which instance you are in or which someone else is. It would be a good addition if someone could write an update to this page about that. Yarral 11:35, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
- Indeed, it is hard to identify which instance everyone is in when you are questing. What you can do though is if you click on the drop down arrow, you get an option to "select instance" from here. Agree on a named instance to join (Hint: Pick one from the bottom as I believe they are the "newer" IE: less populated instances) and you can all go to the same one. See the image to the right.
