[edit] Quests

Quests in Age of Conan are there for several reasons, namely to aide immersion into the game world, and secondly to aide your leveling.

[edit] Getting new quests

There are several ways to get a new quest:

  • Talking to NPCs
  • Examining objects in your environment
  • Receiving a quest from another player using the "share" button
  • Completing a quest (this creates a quest series, such as the destiny quest series)
  • Starting a new character (to get the destiny quest)

The NPCs that will give you new quests can often be seen on the map with a yellow exclamation mark, provided that you are close enough. But note that some quests which are meant for much lower level characters than you will not have the exclamation mark on their head, although you can still obtain and complete the quest by talking to the NPC. If the mark on the NPC is grey, this means that this NPC will have a quest for you when you are higher level.

Note that the number of quests that can be active simultaneously is limited to 30. You can see how many quests you currently have in the top left corner of your quest journal.

The following articles list all the:

[edit] Solving quests

Each quest is composed of one or more objectives which must be completed to solve the quest and get its reward. In most cases the quest tracker option (enabled by default, can de deactivated in the interface options) will help you get to the location at which the next step(s) of the quests can be solved. If you're stuck with a quest even with the quest tracker enabled, you may want to look at the article for the corresponding quest to get clues.
