One-handed edged weapons are varied with many different fighting styles possible. They range from the simple dagger to elegant scimitars and rapiers. They are defined to be edged weapons that are wielded with a single hand and inflict damage through thrusts and slashes. Most of these weapons are better at slashing versus thrusting. For example, a shortsword is pointed, straight and stout, allowing for piercing through light and medium armor while the katana is long and curved with a single cutting edge, making it a deadly slashing weapon.
It can be used by Priest of Mitra, Tempest of Set, Conqueror, Dark Templar, Guardian, and Barbarian.
