Alaster - The City of the Free ! 

In early days in the streets of Old Tarantia or the wild lands of Cimmeria or Stygia some women and men met and felt their destinies being tied together. Some felt they once served in Aquilonian legions together, others traded blood for blood. And some were seeking a new haven to be protected. In the following months the Spellblades felt that a good heart and will to help others is not enough. The whip of former masters came too close once more and all Spellblades knew that they never want to be slaves again. But how could they ever possibly rip the chains of slavery or other burdens ? The veterans of many wars knew the answer. The Spellblades shall built their own city. - Alastar, The City of the Free. -Here the Spellblades - council, elected by its citizens, ruled. Crafters should work in peace, Mitras clerics pray without fear of being hunted and scientists could develop new spells to protect themselves and the city. Once within the walls of the Spellblades, no former master has the right to call upon their duties. All are free to speak their mind freely. Open worship of Set is forbidden. Murder of fellow citizens is forbidden. Slavery is forbidden. The council will be court and law. May the City of the Free never fall !!!
