"Laid back, not so serious, no drama. All about the fun!"
What is this guild all about? For the older more mature crowd (25+ flexible). Centered on having fun! Light leadership. No politics or bureaucracy. NO DRAMA!
What can you expect? A cool group of mature players interested in having fun in the game and enjoying it for what it is. Win, lose, or draw; the objective is to enjoy ourselves. We'll do our best to guarantee that there will always be a group of folks ready to go out adventuring and exploring with. And all of our members will always be more than willing to help fellow guildies out. Pretty much a collection of mature folks who are looking for fun and adventuring without all the BS of a "normal guild".
What’s in the works for the AOC Chapter? We are doing things a little different with the Age of Conan chapter, We are going to have Chapter divisions on a FFA-PvP rule set server and a Normal (PvE) rule set server.
So what’s the difference? Well first lets cover what the same, both AOC divisions have expressed a desire to build a player City and move on to claiming fame and fortune in the border kingdoms as well as exploring all the options that AoC has to offer.
Our FFA-PvP rule set server people are after a more extreme experience in the beautifully brutal Realm of Age of Conan. On the PvP server it will be imperative to be on your toes at all times and be available to back up a guildie when needed. In general our PvP clan will be large but tight fighting unit with bonds of friendship signed by the blood spilt in battle. Whether you’re new to PVP or an old VET this organized and deadly group is looking for people with a competitive nature. If your sword is Sharp and your Reflexes keen you might want to join our OTG’ers on the FFA-PvP rule set server.
Our Members on the Normal rule set server are after a friendlier laid back experience where PvP action is consensual. They will still be interested in CTF matches, ending a night with a good old fashion Drunken Brawl and of course have their eyes set on controlling a battle keep City in the border kingdoms. This tight nit group will be working towards common guild or group goals and helping each other with individual achievements.
Some of our proudest moment and achievements our other Chapters have enjoyed.
Dungeons and Dragons Online One of our proudest achievements has to be The Old Timers Guild becoming such a huge success, Our start was in DDO and to date I believe we still hold the record for the largest Guild ever assembled in DDO with well over 900 members at launch. Our DDO clan went on to capture a number of server and world firsts. We knew we had our work cut out for us so we celebrated in the last night of beta, Note: No elves were permanently damaged in the recording of this video.
Vanguard:SOH Our Vanguard Chapter also holds the record for largest guild on there server and achieved notoriety for being one of the guilds to build a world first Guildhall, a lot of blood, sweat and keyboard mashing went into building one of these suckers. They celebrated by getting right back to work getting our newly constructed Guildhall ready for some very important visitors.
Pirates of the Burning Sea OTG biggest achievement in PotBS was On February 22nd, 2008, as part of the Spanish nationals (on the Antigua server) earned a prominent role in Pirates of the Burning Sea's history, when they became the victors of the first ever server wide Map Win.
OTG and the rest of the Spanish alliance Celebrated by doing it all over again on March 22, 2008 ….Arr matey!
