[edit] About us

History:

The Exiled is a guild that was founded after the launch of AoC, by Vegas and Reven. Like many other small guilds, The Exiled struggled the next few weeks as recruiting applications and memberships were next to none. Reign in blood; another guild with similar struggles, led by Kriegor, contacted The Exiled with a proposal to join forces. Initially, the idea was turned down, but the two GM's would continue to stay in contact.

Kriegors' vision finally came to life when his proposal was accepted. June 4th 2008 marked the beginning of a new chapter for The Exiled as both guilds combined. The boost in numbers impacted the guild immensly as exposure grew, and comeradrie began to form. Recruiting continued to play a key role, as the guild grew closer to constructing a player city. After completing Tier 1, Pvp server Bardisattva began to lose active clients. Many of the big guilds crumbled and formed other guilds, and The Exiled began to feel the servers wrath as numbers diminished each week.

Aug. 19 2008 marked the day of renewal, as core members pushed for Re-rolling on a new server, as the last ditch effort to save the guild. Catching wind of the possible re-roll was guild DIVINITY, who had members that were interested in checking it out. Some Divinity members joined The Exiled on their venture for re-rolling on a PvP Server. Bluesteel was the server chosen. Motivated by the decision, The Exiled worked on the rebuilding process to get the guild up and running to what it once was.

Aug. 25 2008 the PvP came full swing when Shadar Logoth became the first guild to bless our Kill On Site list. Popularity grew as The Exiled pushed the Anti-Gank standard gaining guild enemies in Shadar Logoth, Jokers Wild, -=HOR=-.

September 2008 So many low levels in the guild were being ganked, camped, and griefed, by the higher levels of Jokers Wild, yet many still found victory in those battles. The Warring between Jokers Wild had begun to take its toll, as their leader Vyper approached Vegas in an attempt to call a truce. Not surprised by the attempt, since The Exiled were able to stand their ground dispite originally being a PvE guild and out leveled and out numbered many times, Vegas allowed the offer to be made. Vegas, realising that Jokers Wild feared what the guild would become in the near future, threw the offer back in their face.

Sept. 8 2008. Joker Wild officially annouced that The Exiled are Kill on Site. In the same night, Heroic proposed an alliance that was accepted in an effort to promote the guild status in popularity and show of force.

Sept. 17 2008 was the day the PvP experience was finally implemented. However the constant delays and setbacks had taken its toll on players, and once again Age of Conan took a hit in its active subcriber base. Majority of servers had become ghost towns for those willing enough to continue.

Sept. 24 2008 With Server activness droping by 60%, The Exiled once again began to feel the wrath of inactiveness as numbers once again began to diminish daily. The might of the guild had begun to crumble like so many others before them. The guild had once again fallen victim to the same things that plagued them back in Bardisattva.

Sept. 31 2008 An eventual push for re-roll to PvP server Deathwhisper left members conflicted and angered at starting over yet again. With many members fearing that the guild would separate or disband, key members re-rolled to maintain the unity that was created at launch, eventually joining a small and unknown guild "Darkhaven". Members of The Exiled had worked a deal the would allow all key members to eventaully take over and re-name Darkhaven, in hopes of preserving the essence and bond that The Exiled was famous for, however, trying to recover from such a loss proved disheartening and very discouraging for some members.

With many members inactive, low server population, and other members in Darkhaven, The Exiled was no longer a guild of power, it was a guild in turmoil. By chance or fate The Exiled struggled as an entity, and by sheer coincidence, it seemed as though they could never escape the true name and meaning of being Exiled.
