Grained Leather

Grained Leather is a Tier 4 leather resource which can be obtained as drops from animals levels 45 through 60. Though the Tier 4 Skinning quest requires Grained Leather, a character does not have to have obtained level 50 or have gotten this quest in order to harvest this leather (nor does having the skill increase a character's chances of finding leather).

The best drop rates for Grained Leather is reported to be from the apes in the Eiglophian Mountains, and from the wolves and werewolves of the Field of the Dead (particularly those of the Haunted Forest).

Grained Leather is used in Armorsmithing.
