Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures is an MMORPG based on the world of famed fantasy author Robert E. Howard. In Age of Conan, players enter Hyboria with thousands of their friends and enemies to live, fight, and explore the dark and brutal world of King Conan.

Active Combat SystemEdit

Age of Conan’s combat system lets you take an active role in combat. Rather than pressing an auto-attack button, you actually control every chop, thrust, and swing of your weapon. Our combat system also allows you to control your defense rather than relying on statistics alone, adjusting your defenses as your enemies attack, lending an element of skill to every encounter. Age of Conan also features a robust system for mounted combat, allowing you to charge to victory on powerful horses, deadly war rhinos, and even the mighty mammoth!

Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures features the groundbreaking graphics of our proprietary DreamWorld engine as well as advanced DirectX 10 support, ensuring the world of Hyboria is rich, lush, and vibrant.

Experience Great HeroesEdit

Robert E. Howard’s Conan is one of the most famous heroes of all time. Follow in his footsteps and fight where Conan fought, explore where he roamed, meet friends and foes alike and, if you are truly worthy, meet the great King Conan himself. Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures has been developed in close collaboration with Conan Inc., owners of the Conan license, to ensure the ultimate Hyborian adventure, based on 75 years of lore and history from some of the most famous writers in fantasy fiction.

Character Development And CustomizationEdit

Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures allows an unprecedented level of control over your character. Define your character’s look and feel from their looks—including hairstyles, markings, musculature, size, and other options—to their development, such as picking unique combo attacks and skills, their special abilities, and which deadly spells they bring to bear.

Age of Conan’s 12 classes include an array of unique and interesting classes, from new ideas like the Bear Shaman and Herald of Xotli to new twists on old favorites like the Assassin and Ranger. Our classes are set up across four archetypes: Priests, Mages, Rogues, and Soldiers, ensuring there is a class for every play style and taste.

Player Versus Player CombatEdit

Band together with friends and guildmates to capture powerful battlekeeps and towers for precious resources or work for cold, hard currency as a mercenary, fighting for the prettiest face or highest bidder!

Crafting SystemEdit

Delve into a deep and engrossing crafting system, allowing you to make everything from armor and weapons to an entire city! There are hundreds of unique quests built solely around crafting, and advancement through the crafting system comes from making things and completing quests, not surviving the grind.

There are hundreds of unique quests for adventuring and crafting, featuring extensive NPC interaction and voice acting, immersing you in the living world of King Conan. With music and sound from the award-winning Funcom team, you’ll hear all the thumps, cracks, and clangs of good old-fashioned swordplay, as well as ambient noises like wolves howling in the distance and the grunts and groans of your foes as you cut them to ribbons, all set to a breathtaking score.

Solo OptionsEdit

Age of Conan draws you into the scheming, seduction, intrigue, and betrayal of Hyboria with an extensive solo section on the island of Tortage that gives you time to learn the game at your own pace, with plenty of options for multiplayer interaction should you desire it. Age of Conan also features enough solo content to take you all the way to the upper levels, meaning you play your way, alone or in groups, as you wish.
