Basalt is a Tier 5 Stonecutting resource, and characters must be of at least level 70 in order to harvest it. Basalt outcrops have a chance to produce [Adamant], [Nushadir Salt], or [Ground Cinnabar] when harvested.
Basalt outcroppings also have a chance of producing [Clear Quartz], [Fine Quartz Dust], and [Powdered Desert Glass] when cut.
Basalt's primary use is in Architecture, but it is also used in small amounts in Armorsmithing.
