Feat Tree/Conqueror

[edit] Soldier

The feat tree common to all classes of the Soldier archetype - Conquerors, Dark Templars and Guardians. The Soldier feat tree is designed for a generic tanking class, equipped with taunts and self-buffs to increase the user's tanking ability.

Feat Ranks Tier Requirements Description
Recovery 5 1 - Increases the soldier's rate of life regeneration both in and out of combat. The effect is greatly increased when the soldier is out of combat.
Stone Skin 5 2 - Increases the soldier's elemental resistances.
Improved Frenzy Stance 5 2 - Increases the damage multiplier benefit the soldier receives while in Frenzy Stance.
Hateful Strikes 3 2 - Grants a special ability that increases your hate generation for a short period.
Goad 1 2 - The soldier's derisory insults incense the target, making them attack the soldier and ignore other threats.
Improved Defensive Stance 5 2 - Slightly increases the invulnerability ratings benefit the soldier receives while in Defensive Stance. The effect of the benefit increases with the amount of points put into the feat.
Iron Skin 5 2 - Increases the soldier's physical resistances.
Burning Vigor 3 3 Stone Skin (5) The soldier has a chance of gaining a surge of health whenever they are damaged by sorcery.
Sustained Rage 3 3 - Increases the damage done by the soldier's attacks.
Counterstrike Stance 3 3 - Augments the Defensive Stance with a damage shield so any enemy striking this shield takes damage. Extra feat points invested increase the damage inflicted.
Surging Health 3 3 Iron Skin (5) The soldier has a chance of gaining a surge of health whenever the soldier is physically struck in combat when he is in Defensive Stance.
Guarded Frenzy 3 4 - Permanently decreases the defensive penalty incurred during Frenzy Stance.
Cunning Deflection 1 4 - This quick ability deflects half the damage inflicted by the next attack and for a short time shields the conqueror from a high amount of damage. Any enemy striking this shield takes damage.
Anticipation 1 4 - The soldier prepares to counter-attack incoming blows. When in defensive stance they have a high chance of automatically retaliating against enemy attacks.
Lifesaver 3 4 - Adds life regeneration to soldier's Defensive Stance.
Volcanic Rage 1 5 - This special ability increases the damage done by the soldier's attacks for a short time.
Goad Mob 1 5 - This ability incenses any enemies in the area, making them attack the soldier and ignore other targets.
Improved Goad Mob 1 5 Goad Mob (1) The will increase the range of your AoE taunt to 5 meters.

Feat Ranks Tier Requirements Description
Guardsman Feint 5 1 - The conqueror gains increased invulnerability ratings for a short time when using Feint Attack combos.
Two handed Master 5 2 - Increases the damage done by the soldier’s two-handed attacks, both edged and blunt.
Lumbering Hulk 3 2 - Grants the conqueror an ability which for a short time increases life regeneration and damage inflicted by attacks but reduces movement speed.
Power Counterstrike 5 3 - Increases the damage done by all Guard of Dancing Steel combos.
Improved Furious Inspiration 5 3 - Increases the life regeneration rate of the conqueror’s Furious Inspiration special ability.
Devastate 5 3 - Increases the damage of all 1 handed multi hit and knock back combos.
Throat Slash 1 4 - This new combo temporarily stuns the target.
Deep Wounds 5 4 - The Conquerors attacks have a chance of inflicting a bleeding wound on their target. The Conqueror can have 3 suchs wounds active.
Improved Lumbering hulk 3 4 - Increases the rate of life generation and damage done by the Conquerors attacks.
Burst of Aggresion 1 4 - Grants the Conqueror an ability to empower their next attack so it knocks their enemy backwards and for a short time makes them more likely to ignore other targets and only attack the Conqueror.
Power Feint 5 4 - Increases the damage done by all feint attack combos.
Crushing Onslaught 1 5 - Grants the soldier an ability to empower their next attack so it reduces the targets movement speed and damage done by their attacks.
Heroic Call 1 5 - Grants the Conqueror an ability which plants a banner in the ground, increasing the damage of the team.
Remorseless Aggression 1 5 - Reduces the reuse time of all 2 handed combos.
Frostbite 1 6 Cold Steel Improved the hoarfrost special ability by additionally lowering the damage of any for hit by the hoarfrost effect.
Cold Steel 5 6 - Improves the hoarfrost by increasing the frequency and amount of cold damage inflicted. More points in this feat increases the frequency and damage bonus.
Improved Vitalize 3 6 - Augments the Vitalize the Ranks special ability by increasing the rate of mana regeneration.
Legendary Heroic Call 3 6 Heroic Call Improves the Heroic Call ability by increasing the damage bonus, adding a life regeneration effect and adding bonus magic damage.
At Death's Door 3 6 - Increases the elemental invulnerability bonuses of The Conquerors War Cry to the death, and all team members receive an immunity rating increase. Casting hostile spells at the Conqueror has a chance of inflicting retaliatory damage.
Improved Shield of Retribution 5 7 - Increases the damage done by Shield of Retribution counterattacks. Each foe that attacks you increases the damage inflicted by the retaliatory strike from your guard of dancing steel.
Mocking Sneer 5 7 - All two-handed combo starters cause increased hate generation. In addition, foes affected by mocking sneer that attack you grant you a damage bonus.
Angel of Fury 1 7 - All two-handed combos have a chance of triggering the conquerors furious inspiration ability.
Improved Dancing Steel 5 8 Improved Shield of Retribution Increases the frequency of the conquerors retaliatory strikes when guard of dancing steel combo is active.
Steel Disciplines 2 8 - Increases the duration of all orders, commands and formations.
Colossus of War 5 8 Mocking Sneer Your attacks will increase your own damage. This effect can stack up to 20 times.
Overcome the Odds 1 9 Improved Dancing Steel Grants the soldier an ability that increases his invulnerability ratings and health regeneration based on the number of foes in the vicinity.
Blessed Conquest 1 9 Colossus of War Grants the soldier an ability that makes them invulnerable for a brief time, but increases any damage inflicted on the soldier by elemental attacks for a short time afterwards.

Lacerate 5 1 - All the soldier’s secondary attacks have a chance of inflicting a wound that bleeds for a short time.
Secondary Laceration 5 2 - All the soldier’s secondary attacks have an improved chance of inflicting a wound that bleeds for a short time.
Annihilate 3 2 - Grants the conqueror an ability which greatly increases the critical strike chance of their next combo.
Dual Master 2 2 - Increases the damage of all dual-wield starter combos.
Offhand Precision 5 3 - Increases the chance to hit of the conqueror’s offhand weapons.
Improved Wrath 5 3 Lingering Wrath Augments the Fires of Wrath special ability by increasing the damage done and chance for the effect trigger.
Lingering Wrath 1 3 - Improves the Fires of Wrath special ability by adding a burning wound that damages the target for a short amount of time.
Defiance 5 4 - Grants the soldier an ability that heals all team members. Can only be used if Furious Inspiration is active.
Improved Defiance 3 4 Defiance Adds a stamina and mana regeneration effect to the soldier’s Defiance ability.
Rend and Tear 5 4 - Increases the damage inflicted during the Bloodbath combos.
War Lord 1 4 - A permanent ability that increases the stamina and mana renewal rates of the conqueror and their allies.
War Lord's March 3 4 - Improves the War Leader ability by also increasing the out of combat movement speed.
Bladeweave 1 5 - Replaces the Furious Inspiration effect (when active) with an increased chance to hit with an offhand weapon.
Bloodlust 1 5 - Reduces the reuse time for all dual-wield combos
Improved Inspire 3 6 - Augments the Inspire the Ranks special ability by increasing the amount of stamina healed.
Rend Flesh 3 6 - Grants the soldier an ability which for a short time inflicts a bleeding wound on each target struck, but each time costs the conqueror stamina.
Improved Rend 5 6 Rend Flesh Augments the Rend Flesh feat by adding a slashing damage to each bleeding wound but increases the conqueror’s stamina cost.
Skirmisher 1 6 - Grants the soldier the ability to increase their movement speed but reduces the damage done by their attacks and makes them easier to knock back.
Improved Bloody hack 5 7 - Increases the damage done by the conqueror’s Bloody Hack combos.
Crippling Bloodbath 1 7 - Improves the Bloodbath combos by decreasing the target’s movement speed.
Cunning 3 7 - Grants the soldier an ability that has a chance of making their attacks less likely to draw reprisal attacks from their foes.
Quick Vengeance 3 7 - Permanent reactive effect that when triggered increases the damage you inflict upon your foes and offhand weapon attack chance.
Reaping Blade 1 8 - Grants the soldier the ability to improve the chance to hit with their offhand attacks to 100% for a short time.
Lightning Steel 5 8 Quick Vengeance Increases damage inflicted with one handed edged and blunt weapons. Your offhand attacks gain a chance of increasing the frequency of offhand attacks. Once gained, successful offhand attacks will refresh the duration of this bonus.
Tactical mastery 2 8 - Decreases the cooldown of all Orders, Commands and Formations.
Art of War 5 8 Improved Bloody hack Permanently increases the amount of hate generated by the conqueror’s attacks and enables the Subtlety of War strategy.
Whirlwind 1 9 - The Whirlwind combo attack lashes out at all nearby enemies. The strikes fall with such force they have high chance of critically injuring victims.
Flashing Defence 1 9 Art of War Greatly increases their ability to evade blows but lowers the damage done by their attacks
