Brindled Leather

Brindled Leather is the Tier 2 Skinning resource. It is a rare drop which can be obtained from any creature which also drops [Rough Leather]. While a character does not need the Skinning skill in order to obtain Brindled Leather, they do need to be of at least level 20 in order to receive the quest for it.

Reportedly the best drop chance is off Diseased Bears in the Wild Lands of Zelata, but Brindled Leather can be very difficult to find, requiring hundreds of kills.

Brindled Leather is used in Armorsmithing.
