Brindled Leather is a rare drop from the same animals which drop Rough Leather.
Reportedly the best drop chance is off Diseased Bears in the Wild Lands of Zelata though some hundreds may have to be killed in order to get it to drop. Others have reported being lucky and getting Brindled Leather in under 20 kills emphasizing how random the drop rate is. As is often true, the chances of getting this rare drop seem higher in Epic instances.
