Atlantean

The Atlanteans were one of the pre-cataclysmic races, and one of the fortunate few races who survived the cataclysm. They started to build a civilization, but their enemies, the Picts, with their overwhelming numbers, threw the race back into a state of savagery. While the Picts neither stayed in their barbaric ways, neither progressing nor regressing, the Atlanteans were slowly turning back into an apish race.

Thousands of years later, the Cimmerians emerged, decendants of the ancient Atlanteans.
