[edit] Contest started yet?
Has this contest started yet? When I goto the Mitra page, is there suppose to be questions or something?
- Hi! No, the contest should be starting sometime today(14. April). We will announce it on the main page when it starts :) Cheers and good luck! Zido [Talk] [Contribs] 00:38, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
- Note: The clue on the Mitra page will be added when the competition starts, so it's not there yet. Zido [Talk] [Contribs] 00:41, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Start Time 14th April
Hi, its evening time and the competition still hasnt started, is the competition delayed or is it still starting today?
- Hi there. The competition will still be starting today. The reason it's not started even though it's evening some places is due to the time difference. The people needed to start the competition is based in the US. Zido [Talk] [Contribs] 17:07, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Clues
If you find a new clue will it say clue number whatever or will you have to know for yourself it its a clue or not?
- Clues are clearly labeled, and will be at the top of the necessary pages. -- Doug

[edit] Auto-submit
Hello. I've been wondering and trying to figure out how is "Click here to auto-submit your response" supposed to work? I would be happy to get some help with it, thank you.
- Hi, i would like to know this too, even though i already emailed, i think its weird that it doesn't work and i think alot of people think the same Roath
[edit] What is the email address that will be sending us an email if we win?
So i can add it to the address book so it doesn't get put as spam mail.
- It is the same email address that the answer should be emailed to ( and is marked on the final page). -- Doug

[edit] Name?
Which name should I include in the mail; my real life name or my forum name?
- Both Please :) -- Doug
(talk) 20:16, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
- Even if it means I have to send another email? I've sent one with just my RL name and location of Mitra. Will I not be eligible for the prize with only my RL name and location? And won't I be disqualified if I send another email?
[edit] About the email....
I sent in the answer way before any questions were asked or answered and I forgot to put my name in email, but my email address is the same as my wiki login. I dont want to send another email in, for fear of disqualification. What should I do?
[edit] Limit?
Is there a limit to how many times someone can enter once they have found Mitra?
1 per email address for example?
[edit] How are the winners chosen?
Are the winners chosen by random out of the people who found mitra.... or is it the first 10 who found mitra wins?
- They winners are indeed chosen by random.
- Participants will be picked at random amongst submitted email addresses by Wikia.
- Recipients will be picked at random from the qualified participant
- Winners are notified via e-mail and given 72 hours to respond, no response then we pick someone else for their prizes. So watch your e-mail from the 21st of April! Daworm 14:42, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
- It's 21. april. More then 12:00 UTC. And... no e-mail in my inbox. Something is wrong! --217.67.18.170 12:33, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
- I did say to watch it from, never said it would be picked straight away.

[edit] Wikia account...
Do I have to have an account here on Wikia in order to participate? I just sent in my e-mail address and name but I realized I didn't have an account...
- It is not required to have a wikia account no. Daworm 00:49, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
For thouse ppl that do win and get one of the beta spots, where will they be able to download them? Im just wounding as the open beta is with fileplanet and they need to pay to download it.
- I would imagine that all the instructions would be contained in the e-mail sent you after you have won. To my knowledge wikia will provide the winners details to Funcom and Funcom would then send an e-mail to you for the invite to beta or request to get your address details.
[edit] Regarding the Five (5) Age of Conan 3-month pre-paid game cards
I know this is a bit late, but are there any limitations to this? most sites make it US only, i just want to make sure that you dont have any hidden limit there and we dont know which might be bad for part of the community that took part in this "contest".
- If anyone from AoC Wiki could answer this, would be very nice, i'm very concerned about this, especially since no information for or against it is written anywhere. Roath 20:22, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
- As far as I know there have been no limitations placed on just US gamers. I am looking into this further, and will post the results. -- Doug
(talk) 22:38, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
- Well, if it turns out that you cant send the actual cards due to some legal issues or whatever, you could always just give the players the actual pre-paid game time (virtual) instead of the physical pre-paid game cards, i know that, atleast in my case, that wouldn't be anything i'd be mad about, but who knows... those pre-paid game cards are collectibles, so some might want them physically *shrugs*, just my 2 cents, hope it helped. [edit] Winner announcement...
I know a lot of people (such as myself who use yahoo's mail service) have mail automatically blocked from unknown sites as spam. For example, I have not seen an AoC newsletter form my yahoo account for quite some time. Is it possible for the winners to be announced on the site so said winners don't have to worry about the 72 hour disqualification rule?
- I think that would be hard, some people seem to just have sent the answer and not including their name, and showing their email on the list if they win, would give spambots more food, i suggest you add the email you sent the answer to, to your "whitelist" or whatever its called for yahoo's mail service, that should avoid it from getting blocked. Roath 20:20, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Have Winners already been notified?
Did you guys already send the emails? so I dont have to keep pressing F5...
- Not as yet, as soon as e-mails are sent out to the winners I'll update this talk page and the main page as well as the thread on the official forums.
- Daworm talk / cont 02:08, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
- Did you send the e-mails yet? It's waaaaaaaaaaaaay after 72 hours since the contest ended .. 83.144.101.221 13:19, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
- Yes the winners have been sent e-mails already, I missed updating this page to reflect it.
