Merging an article is something anybody can do. If you see an article that needs to be merged with another article, then you can do so by yourself, simply by editing the articles. Please remember that if you merge Article1 into Article2, you should always leave a redirect from Article1 to Article2. This is to avoid broken links, both inside the Wiki and from outside sources.

If somebody disagrees with the merge and reverts it, please discuss on the discussion pages instead of remerging the page. If you are unsure wether the page should be merger or not, you can mark it with the {{Merge}} template and write your reason for wanting to merge the article on the discussion pages.
